TYPES WANTED EXTRAS ARE REAL, EVERY-DAY PEOPLE; THERE IS WORK FOR EVERYONE! We are consistently casting people of every walk of life: from character types to professionals, kids to grandparents; all ages, all sizes, all ethnicities, all skill levels, ALL LOOKS – ALL TYPES. As long as you can listen and take direction well, have a good attitude and common sense you should have a good chance of receiving work offers.

AVAILABILITY You accept the work only when you are available, which allows even those with busy schedules to take advantage of opportunities when they can! Shooting dates can be uncertain and last minute, but you have complete control to indicate your availability on a per project basis.

POLICIES We take pride in our reputation for providing professional people and do enforce strict professional policies. We have developed a simple, no cost, extremely informative and required online crash course in extras casting that covers how we work, the casting process and everything expected from a professional - from never looking in the camera to the detailed wardrobe rules.

PAY RATES On average, extras make about $75 - $250 a day. Depending on the job and usage type, it is possible to earn $500-$1,000 a day (or more). You may even get upgraded which pays residual income! Although not typical, we have many members now who have each earned well over $10,000 as a result of their membership. Although working as an extra is not a full-time job, working on a set for a day here and there, while getting paid for it, can definitely be worth it!

OPPORTUNITIES Although we primarily cast background talent, there are frequently opportunities for featured roles and principal actors as well. While no guarantees of work are made, countless members of ours have been upgraded or landed some sweet gigs. Again, the site is searched daily for projects of ALL types, providing limitless opportunities for our members.

JOB DESCRIPTION Listen and follow directions precisely. You will probably be doing an everyday activity. Act naturally and never look into the camera. Actors and extras (also called "atmosphere" or "background actors" ) bring the concepts to life. We are the ones that connect you to those projects.

ONLINE PORTFOLIO You have the option to create and activate your own online dynamic portfolio page for a one time activation fee of $25 and a low monthly website fee that depends on how many photos and videos you want to upload. Your online profile page is your personal online advertisement page!

YOUR PHOTO We do not require a professional picture and there is no fee to take, re-take, upload or update your primary photo. We do insist on a good quality, simple digital snapshot that can be taken at our office or you can upload your own.

RESOURCES Members have access to get information on agents, photographers, classes as well as the most legitimate and worthwhile workshops and development events for those interested in pursuing a career in entertainment.

SECURITY Members' info is highly confidential. All private info provided is secured using current SSL technology (Secure Socket Layer), encrypted then transmitted. Our private database is only accessible by authorized industry hiring clients.

OUR DATABASE We are not a massive, national database only focusing on signing up as many members as possible in every small city, nor do we brag, allow or maintain a database with tens of thousands of members in markets that don’t justify. We work only in a few select cities with thriving production markets.
